2021 Kulanu Impact Stories – Cameroon

Dear Friends,

As 2021 comes to a close, we are reflecting on Kulanu’s support for global Jewish communities over the past year. Today, let’s look at how donations are making an impact in Cameroon.

This Passover, Kulanu assisted the Beth Yeshourun community in Cameroon with food and supplies to ensure the community was able to celebrate the holiday. In this picture, local children are proudly displaying matzot baked by their own community. With the help of the resources, educational materials, and connections to other Jews that Kulanu provides, the Beth Yeshourun community is a warm, vibrant hub of Jewish life.

“Kulanu is working tirelessly with isolated Jewish communities around the world to break the cycle of isolation, poverty, illiteracy, and low expectations through service, education, support, and opportunities. It not only gives an opportunity to each of those communities to tell their story, it also helps them create a better one. That is amazing. Everything we have become, Kulanu cleared the path for it, and we are very grateful,” shared Amir, a leader of Cameroon’s Jewish community.

Your donations help many of Kulanu’s partner communities to flourish – just like the one in Cameroon. You help connect isolated Jewish communities to the larger global Jewish world, allowing them to receive crucial assistance even as they inspire and strengthen all of us in return.

Please donate online now or send a check to Kulanu, c/o Harriet Bograd (address below) to secure Kulanu’s future! If you have already given, thank you!

We are so close to meeting the $60,000 matching gift challenge. Every donation you give will be doubled. Can you help us reach our goal?

Thank you for being part of “all of us”!

Warm regards,
Harriet
