The 2014 Kulanu-Abayudaya Women’s Speaking Tour, featuring young activist Shoshanna Nambi of Uganda, will run October 23 – November 24 in the United States and Canada. Last year Ms. Nambi became the first Jewish woman to represent the Abayudaya (Jewish) community on this annual Kulanu-organized tour, and Kulanu is delighted to host her once again. We have events scheduled in about a dozen communities so far, from Toronto to Chicago to California.

Find out if Shoshanna Nambi is coming to your community – or a friend’s – this fall:

Audiences will be inspired by the fascinating history of the Abayudaya’s embrace of Judaism. Additionally, Shoshanna will share her unique perspective on the role of women in this Ugandan community today, and update audiences on the community’s health, nutrition, education and economic development projects supported by Kulanu.

We do still have a few dates available, but you’ll have to act fast! Click here to find out how to request a visit by Shoshanna Nambi to your town.
