Serge Etele, an educator, computer specialist, and farmer, is the spiritual leader of Beth Yeshourun in Cameroon, Central Africa. Come hear him discuss the community’s embrace of Judaism and their success in learning and practicing Jewish rituals on their own. Mr. Etele will also perform some of their original African-Jewish music.Mr. Etele will speak tonight, Thursday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m., at West End Synagogue, 190 Amsterdam Avenue (at 69th St) in Manhattan.
