Help Recognize Young Jewish Leader Daneel Schaechter
Many of you are already familiar with the accomplishments of Daneel Schaechter of New York City, Kulanu’s youngest board member and our Regional Coordinator for Latin America. Daneel has traveled on behalf of Kulanu to visit, teach, and support returning and emerging Anousim communities in Central and South America; welcomed many Jewish communities into Kulanu’s global network and helped facilitate grants, donations, and volunteers to Latin America; has been a dedicated Kulanu volunteer since he was in high school (he is now a college graduate), and is always glad to play an active role in Kulanu’s various projects and programs.
In addition to his impressive work within Kulanu, Daneel has been awarded research grants and other competitive positions, including his current status as a Fulbright scholar in Brazil, where he continues to volunteer for Kulanu. In recognition for all his achievements (see his LinkedIn profile here for his full CV), Kulanu has chosen Daneel Schaechter as our honoree for the 2015 Kulanu Tribute Journal!
