Zimbabwe Site Visits

Molly Levine, our executive director, traveled to Zimbabwe to visit the ongoing agricultural projects in Zimbabwe. Five Lemba villages are working on irrigation projects, which include boreholes, to create farming practices that will be more drought resistant as the country is dealing with food insecurity. The projects are being supported by a generous donor and the community members are each putting in their own volunteer efforts to ensure success.

At each village, the Kulanu team was met by an enthusiastic group of villagers ready to work. The women pictured here are part of the community project and will work on the farm as the land is prepared.
