The New York Times Magazine published an excellent article about Rabbi Capers Funnye on Sunday, April 5:

The title was “Obama’s Rabbi.” Rabbi Funnye has hosted Kulanu speakers twice at his Chicago synagogue, and he helped found the Pan-African Jewish Alliance last summer during Rabbi Gershom Sizomu’s homecoming in Uganda.
