The Jewish community in Arusha, Tanzania is working to complete a mikvah with the help of a Kulanu mini-grant, which partially funded the project. The funds were transferred quickly in order to allow for the construction to continue at a very fast pace to ensure that the building would be completed prior to the rainy season. This is especially important since the rain will be collected and stored to be the source of the mikvah water.
