Four Corners of the Earth now includes the Kulanu office!
A film crew from the upcoming documentary, “From the Four Corners of the Earth”, recently visited the Manhattan apartment of Kulanu president Harriet Bograd to interview her and Kulanu VP Bonita Nathan Sussman about Kulanu’s work around the world. This film focuses on the Tifereth Israel community of Sefwi Wiawso, Ghana (see kulanu.org/ghana), and is set to air on Canadian television this fall. Check out Kulanu’s Ghana playlist on YouTube for short videos related to the documentary project, and learn more about the film at www.fourcornersthefilm.com. |
DEADLINE EXTENDED for the Daneel Schaechter Tribute
There is still time to contribute to the 2015 Kulanu Tribute Journal in honor of Daneel Schaechter, a rising star in the Jewish world — we’ve extended the deadline for submissions to June 15, 2015!*
Show your support for Daneel’s work with Anousim communities with a contribution to this year’s Tribute Journal at www.kulanu.org/donate(be sure to include “Daneel Tribute” followed by a short message for the online ad journal in the Comments or Memo field). Then share with your networks why YOU chose to honor Daneel Schaechter.
Daneel Schaechter of New York, NY, is Kulanu’s youngest board member and our Regional Coordinator for Latin America. His many accomplishments in the Jewish, Anousim/Crypto-Jewish and Latin American worlds are impressive, and we are proud to be honoring him this year (www.kulanu.org/tribute).
