Kupakwashe Marazani, a young member of the Lemba Jewish community of Zimbabwe, has been traveling a lot lately. This month, he went on a Birthright trip \u2013 a ten-day journey through Israel that brings Jewish young adults together to learn from and connect with other Jews; see\u00a0birthrightisrael.com<\/a>. This was the final leg of Kupa\u2019s recent travels, after which he returned to Zimbabwe with many memories and new friends!<\/p>\n

Kupa\u2019s time abroad began last summer with the Brandeis Collegiate Institute (BCI<\/a>) summer immersion program in California. He then participated in the Jewish Experiential and Nature Educators (JENE) fellowship program at American Jewish University\u2019s Brandeis Bardin campus.<\/p>\n
